Why is the vitamin supplement that I'm taking causing my muscles to ache?

I’ve been taking a multi vitamin supplement for the last 3 days and this morning when I woke up my posterior muscles were aching on both sides. then as the day progressed I started experiencing aches on some of the other muscles in my body.

I’ve stopped taking the supplement now but I was just wondering what was causing it. I suspect it was too much of a particular vitamin but I don’t know which one because it has vitamin a,d,e,c, thiamin (b1), riboflavin (b2), vitamin b6 and vitamin b12 and it also has loads of minerals like calicium and iron. does anyone know which vitamin is associated with muscle aches when you take too much of it. Then I can get a supplement without that vitamin in it.

    In all honesty you may need to go to your doctor to make sure all is okay.

    I am not really sure which one it is..the best thing to do is call and ask a pharmacist at your local pharmacy. They would definitely know which one would cause this.
