Why are cherries not considered as one of the top ten best foods containing antioxidants?
Red-colored foods are considered main contributors to antioxidants. Cherries are red-colored. Why aren’t they considered as one of the top ten best foods contributing to antioxidants then?
^ I have seen cherries on some antioxidant lists, they are also great for people with diabetes, it helps to lower your glucose (sugar) level, I know it works for me.
Cherries are very healthy for you, I’ve heard sour cherries are good for arthritis too.
It might be the fact that they are around 5 carbs an ounce, while berries are lower per ounce, everything seems to be about carbs. today. I hope this helped.

Could be because they are an extremely seasonal fruit. Almost impossible to get out of season.
