What's the best vitamin supplement for guinea pigs?

I’m getting a guinea pig soon and I know they need vitamin c and I read you can give them vitamin supplements to prevent scurvy. So what’s the best vitamin supplement for a guinea pig that’s available at stores?

I don’t use the liquid vitamin c, if that’s what you’re referring to– and I wouldn’t advise you to. I just give them lots of fresh veggies and they’re happy. (: Yes, guinea pigs need more vitamin c than most animals, but it isn’t necessary to put the liquid in their water. Fresh veggies every day (or even every other day) will do just fine. :D

Its actually not necessary.. You can give them Vitamin C from their food. It can be given in their fruit that they get or even better parsley. Its like catnip to them and has tons of vitamin C.

You probably shouldn’t get the liquid stuff you put in there water. I usually feed my guinea pig cilantro, parsley, apples, peppers, and oranges.
