There is no substitute for a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Plants contain phytonutrients that help ward off aging, prevent heart disease and cancer as well as warding off high blood pressure. Also, the fiber in them helps keep people regular. You need bulk in your diet to prevent constipation and prevent conditions such as colon cancer or diverticulosis.

With that being said, a basic multivitamin(a generic Centrum is ok) is a good insurance policy for those that don’t eat alot of fruits and vegetables. Look for vitamins that are USP (U.S. pharmacopoeia) certified for potency. Also, consumerlabs.com is a good resource b/c it is an independent lab that tests supplements. Good luck.

I would recommend Nutrilites concentrated Fruits and Vegetables. It has 10+ servings of fruits and vegetables in 2 tablets and also 10+ phytonutrients. It is something that I have been taking for a year or so now. If you want any more info on it or how to get it you can email me. chadm1010xs@gmail.com

Vitamin supplements are a necessity for people who oppose eating fruits and vegatables. I personally don’t understand it, but your body should no be deprived.
