Can I feed Omega-oil supplement direct instead of adding to my dogs food?

I bought this bottle of Camelina Oil which is supposed to have Omega 3fatty acids, and antioxidants its similar to adding Fish oil to your dogs food…. this stuff stinks!!!!! horrible strong pungent smell!! I dont want to add it to my dogs food cause it stinks up my whole kitchen….I have this syringe that my vet gave me to feed my dogs wormer orally…. can I just use that to inject a teaspoon into his mouth after he eats….. he doesnt even like the stuff on his food…. but i bought it cause its all natural and it doesnt go bad like fish and flax oil….

heres a link with the product info:

I wouldn’t see why not. If you can get it in by syringe feeding it to him go for it. Sometimes it’s easier for them anyways to just get it over with. Good Luck.

Don’t think it would hurt, it’s going in the same way! lol I would probably give it to him before feeding so he could at least get the taste out of his mouth when eating… I’m sure it doesn’t taste very good either.
