any vitamin supplements you recommend for a 30 year old man?

i’ve been watching my diet and working out consistently for over 2 months.. but now i want to add vitamins into the mix.. which do you recommend? i have some vitamin b6 b12 at the house and i’ve been taking that for a couple of days.. what else do i need though?

    be aware, B-12 is destroyed by stomach acids, so taking a pill to get additional B-12 is a waste of time and money. To get additional B-12, you can get lozenges that melt in your mouth and are absorbed thru your mucous membranes. As for other supplements, if you are just looking for a general boost to your vitamins don’t bother with any of the pills available on the market, they are not absorbed… one of the leading costs at waste treatment plants is clearing intakes of vitamin pills. Get a liquid vitamin supplement, there are many available in stores and online, those at least are available to the body for absorption.

    All the B vitamins work together for a balance. Just taking 1 or 2 of them will probably cause a shortage in the other B’s, giving you some strange symptoms or nervousness.

    Actually it is best to go to a health food store ( usually there is one in a mall ) and ask for a good vit.-mineral tablet to suit your needs.

    multi-vitamin, fish oil, biotin/collagen/elastin (hair,skin,nails), milk thistle (if you drink alcohol), protein, (if you work out) creatine, glutamine.
