Drinking alkaline water by itself without changing your overall diet will not help you to de-acidify your system. It is one beneficial therapy but is not a single magic bullet. Take note that the Korean water ionizers use mesh electrode technology which is inferior to proven Japanese design. You can find more about this problem here:

My family has been using a water ionizer for years and we love it. All, and I do mean all, the “reviews” are self-serving. Research before you buy.
I love my water ionizer. I’ve been using it for a couple years now and I still can’t get over how fresh my water tastes every time I take a drink.
